A medal
struck by the Royal Mint to mark 70 years since the end of the Holocaust
was unveiled last night, with the first presented to some of the
dwindling number of survivors.
Chancellor
George Osborne and Communities Secretary Eric Pickles, who commissioned
the silver medal, said it was vital to keep ‘retelling’ the story of
the murder of six million Jews.
The
first of the run of medals were awarded to survivors and supporters of
the Holocaust Education Trust in Downing Street last night, and a
limited number will be on sale on the Royal Mint’s website.
Whatever they can do to keep it alive...... foreeeeeverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.................

And:
REMEMBER THE HOLOCAUST ~ OR ELSE
http://snippits-and-slappits.blogspot.ca/2009/06/remember-holocaust-or-else.html
"young Frenchmen and young Spaniards and young Swedes and young Swiss. They, too, must always remember.
So you are guilty and must never be allowed to forget, nor should your children be allowed to forget, if your grandfather "supported the Nazi regime"; you are also guilty and must never be allowed to forget, and your children should never be allowed to forget, if your grandfather merely failed to "oppose the Nazi regime."
I wonder if they are made from silver teeth fillings?
