Israeli forces have arrested a Palestinian boy for allegedly throwing a
stone at Israeli soldiers: the boy is only 5-years old. The incident
happened in the city of Hebron or al-Khalil in the Occupied West Bank.
The
Israeli army has said the boy had endangered passers-by. The detention a
5-year old innocent boy is not an isolated case involving the violation
of Palestinian rights.
There is a long list of such violations
including the siege on the Gaza Strip since 2007, arbitrary abduction
and arrest of Palestinians; destruction of their homes to name just a
few.
On this edition of the show we ask: Why the international
community is inactive in the face of these violations? What would be the
reaction of the US and the EU if a 5-year old has been arrested
anywhere else other than Israel?
