  1. Middle aged lady understandably upset about hospital/hospice death of her aged mother and discerns preservation of life may be eclipsed by financial - and maybe other - factors.

This theme is well treated in Eustace Mullins' Murder By Injection: The Story of the Medical Conspiracy Against America(1988).

However, absent reform of corrupt monetary systems and so on, are resources in the world limitless? Is this as much a tale of Americans' inability to handle death, at any age? Ask John Kaminski. There is a time to be born, and a time to die. If you're 89, has your time just come?

There is probably much more background that would go to explain, but as a separate note I find it hard to rely 100% on the judgement of people who overtalk others. Sorry.
