  1. RIP, Dave McGowan, and thank you for speaking out about the Boston Marathon bombing hoax, and especially for your research into the Laurel Canyon hippie music scene, designed to discredit the anti-war movement.

  2. From the time he was 1st diagnosed just months ago, to his rapid death, I don't for a minute believe this was natural. I only wish Dave could have written about his experiences on stalking & harrassment. Shades of Gary Webb, Serena Shim, James Hatfield, Gary Carodori, etc.

  6. So sorry to see him taken out like this. Though I never read his Laurel Canyon series, I listened to many interviews of him talking about his research, which helped to convince me that most of our so-called "culture" is manufactured. His Programmed to Kill book was excellent, and I greatly appreciated his work on the Boston Bombing hoax (his video presentation with John B Wells is definitely worth watching) and the moon landing hoax.

Here's what his brother had to say (not sure where the original comments were posted, but found them here: http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?86132-RIP-David-Mcgowan):

I have held my silence for a long time on this. I said I would not post until David had moved on from this World. He has not. I would not Honor him if I waited until he had passed. His physical body now weighs less than 90 lbs, his breathing is severely impaired, He is incontinent though he fights to rise and be proper in expelling his wastes. HIs tissue is turning blue/ purple/ blackish as it dies, He is heavily medicated, so much so that even those of you who are privy to a regimen of pain medication would be amazed at his resilience to maintain some aspect of clarity as his stubborn mind clings to Life. We were told he would not make it to Halloween when he has just 125 lbs, Days ago we were told he would not last more than 48 hours as his tissues begin to die. It has been 6 days since and he is still fighting to be with us. When I left him three weeks ago< i could not say goodbye to him as he told me he might surprise me. For the first time as far back as I can remember, I doubted his words. I was wrong. He is a Visionary. He is a Warrior He has always been a fountain of Truth and his truth will continue to awaken people. David is making a final statement that though he may have lost the ability to write, that though he has lost the ability to speak, that his spirit is not so easily disposed to those who attacked him and to those would relish in his death, he has won. I would like to say to him that it is now alright to let go. It is alright to be at Peace. That You have done enough

  7. RIP Dave McGowan. I have been a big fan for many years. I was so fortunate to discover his Center for an Informed America site. http://www.davesweb.cnchost.com/

If you want to have a good laugh while being educated about the hoax moon landings and the Lincoln assassination, you really need to check that out.

Mr McGowen was a great writer, and like the books of all great writers, you will burn through their material much too quickly, and wishing they would write more soon. I guess that's all the writing we will be getting from this one. He will be missed.

  9. We lost my favorite truth researcher. I emailed with him a few times and read and listened to him hundreds of others. Sad day. My best to his loved ones.

Craig thanks for all your posts online keeping us abreast.

Can't express what a loss it was for this man of humor and insight!

  10. I have his Programmed to Kill and an autographed copy of Laurel Canyon. When I found out he got csncer, I immediately felt he was being off'ed with a fast acting cancer such as Hugo Chavez.

    son of a bitch.

The truthseekers are being murdered at a more rapid clip.

    So disheartening,

RIP and see you on the other side, sir.

  11. Fast-acting cancer. The perfect tool. Think Bill Hicks as well as Hugo Chavez or Aaron Russo.

I loved Dave and his work. Top notch and unwavering and braver than most. A true warrior, humble, powerful, precise.

The tears I am shedding are selfish, I know. I forced myself to read the words of Craig, his brother, to paint that picture as clear as clear, oh heck, I am crying here still. A great man is gone and we have all lost him.

But his work was apparently done, as with the work of the late Michael Collins Piper, will live on. The changes that will come as a result of his work are his everlasting gift to the world. We should be grateful for having him as long as we did.

May Dave McGowan and Michael Collins Piper have a good old time wherever they are. I imagine Will Carto and Mike will have patched things up and he will be in on some extraordinary conversations.

The good die young, before they can fulfill their true mission if it goes against the PTB. It is up to us to make sure their work is kept and shared widely so their death is not in vain.

    Dave McGowan, RIP
Gone but definitely never to be forgotten

  12. Shortly after the Caravan to Midnight show (above) went up on YouTube, a commenter called "Archangel Phoenix" made this remark:

"This David McGowan fella really ought to quit smoking. With all the elitist feathers he's ruffling, he's likely to come down with a spontaneous case of hitherto undiagnosed stage 4 inoperable Pancreatic cancer."
