It looks to me like the Philippine professional class are in cahoots with the ruling class to cull the poor population. Perhaps they have been tempted by the carrott of raising the country out of third world status to join the international rat race.
ReplyDeleteI actually agree that this appears to really be happening and yeah, there are news stories floating around on local Google news feeds about how the Philippines is on track or seeking to join the middle tier income bracket relative to population and economy
