Sometimes pregnancy and giving birth can be traumatic for some women. Children have the right to be wanted.
ReplyDeleteDeanna Spingola is a wonderful person. I have no doubt that the order she wishes for America and the world would be one where many more intelligent, kind and capable parents would want to have more children because they would have some reasonable assurance that they could take care of their kids and give them a good chance of having a decent life.
ReplyDeleteHowever, in the world that we have today, it is irresponsible to stigmatize abortion. In addition, it approaches gross irresponsibilty to stigmatize birth control and emergency contraception.
If you are living in the US, you live in a country that has the highest rate of rape per capita than any other "advanced" nation. You live in a country where tens of millions cannot find work, and where more tens of millions are under-employed. You live in a country that is absurdly sexualized, where it is apparently okay to market the likes of Hannah Montana, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, and Nicki Minaj to children well younger than ten. You live in a country that is thoroughly dysgenic, where those who are irresponsible, selfish and stupid are effectively rewarded for reproducing, and where working poor couples who are responsible, hardworking and intelligent have practically no choice but to go into massive debt if they want to raise children.
And you live in a country where there is little or no reason to hope for the in-our-lifetimes arrival of a leadership that will put the welfare and happiness of its citizens first.
" arrival of a leadership"
ReplyDeletenot going to happen , this bitch of a world is going down.
We need a purge not leadership.
