5 Sneaky Ways Fundamentalists Are Trying To Slip Christian Creationism Into America’s Public Schools

Umm...Let's Not!
Evolution is the linchpin of modern biology. Young people who don’t understand it are missing out on an entire range of educational and career opportunities. Certain professional fields can be closed off to them.
Despite this, some public schools in America do all they can to avoid teaching evolution. Thanks to constant pressure from the Religious Right, many public schools are battlegrounds in a culture war that does great damage to our nation’s scientific credibility as creationists work overtime to slip their ideas into the curriculum. 1. If Darwinian or Neo-Darwinian theories of evolution were not so scientifically weak in their abilities to explain the high degree of obvious high complexity, design, engineering, and mathematical accuracy and precision found in nature, they would not have to put up with people who think a much higher intelligence designed this world and the things in it.

  2. “Religion easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told. Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people that there’s an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever ’til the end of time! But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He’s all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can’t handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more. Now, talk about a good bullshit story. Holy Shit!” ~ George Carlin

Sorry Whooli You won't like what I say but G.Carlin makes more sense. Why should science be bothered with "faith" I just don't understand, to me it's like placing faith in government. Deep subject.
