65th anniversary of the Genocide Convention


 The United States does not have a policy of disengagement when it comes to the prevention of genocide. Rather, US policy is far worse: it operates on a principle of direct engagement with – and sometimes support of – genocidal regimes when Washington's geopolitical goals demand it.
