California School Forced To Remove ‘Racist Menu”

Daaaaaaaammmm!
Carondelet, a private school in Northern California has apologized and removed a menu that apparently upset parents and students. A lunch menu that was part of the celebrations for Black History Month was:
“…stereotypical of black Southern culture that comes from the same place where the N-word comes from”. according to University of San Fransisco professor James Taylor.
The menu, which included watermelon, chicken and collard greens was deemed offensive.

I am getting older and confuse easily, so help me understand this:

Whites are suppose to be plagued with guilt because of slavery, although as I recollect, there have been no slaves in this country for some time. I don't know anyone who was a slave or even had parents or grandparents who were.

Yet we have an entire month to remind us of racial injustice, long-suffering and whatever the rest of the mantra is.

So the school menu was deemed offensive. So which is it? Soul food is offensive but we are to suffer though yet another Black History Month?

If well-heeled blacks have risen above eating watermelon, fried chicken and collard greens then they should be ready to surrender February to a more noble cause such as recognition of the injustice suffered by our first, true Americans. The American Indian.

    Oh shit....here we go again.

Let me ask you a question sigil --

You Indian lovers never can answer this question.

What should the Europeans who came to this country done?

    Turned around and sailed home?

Are you confident in saying that the Indians here were innocent?

Who drew first blood in your opinion?

Just a reminder -- 99% of the history/media related to this discussion is SLANTED in one direction = sympathy for the Indian ----- guilt for the white man.

I suggest you continue to study and understand the 'reality' of what happened 400 years ago.

Try the Daily Stormer for some good articles on this subject under the "History" category.

  3. I would eat fried chicken, collard greens and watermelon all day, every day.

When I was growing up, would sometimes go to over to my black friend's house, and they often had fried chicken and some sort of greens that they grew in their garden. It was always delicious.

There is nothing shameful about fried chicken and watermelon, and greens are very healthy.

The whole idea of Black History Month is offensive to me.
"The lady doth protest too much, methinks"
Doesn't it seem rather patronizing to celebrate a month every year, for the last 40 years? Why does the government find it necessary to remind everyone that black people aren't terrible?

Black History, Women's Studies, bullsh*t oppressed people victim studies. This is Marxist revisionism.

  4. Damn right this menu is offensive! True african cuisine consists of grilled pouched rats and christian missionaries.

Anyway this thread made me hungry.
