This interview of Paul Fromm was posted last week.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, Fromm raised the point about Clinton saying "diversity is our greatest strength."
He said that in 1997, at a commencement address at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Diversity isn't even one of America's greatest strengths. It's greatest strengths *were* the relatively high moral character of its people, the characteristics of its founding peoples, their culture, and its former system of government, of being a limited constitutional republic, dedicated not to the proposition that government is instituted to protect natural rights.
America's second President James Madison, who incidentally didn't own any slaves, said this:
"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."
If diversity is such a great strength, Yugoslavia should've been one of the world's strongest nations, per person, at least, if not a major power, overall.
