    The Nuremberg Trials violated several fundamental principles of modern justice, including:

    1) The victors were the judges, prosecutors and appointed the defense counsel.

    2) Defendants weren't able to call certain witnesses for their defense, since they could be arrested.

    3) Cross-examination of prosecution witnesses wasn't allowed in many cases.

    4) Some defendants were tried for violations of law that hadn't been in place when they were committed.
