The earth is an oblate spheroid that rotates and the sun is 93+ million miles away from earth. That is what all the well educated scientists have established.

And how exactly does this globe earth scam work? If I accept I can't travel West and end up where I started, or that timezones are made up and it's night where you are in the US now too, because flat, do the banks stop charging interest?? Do the governments start issuing money instead of debt again?? What's the scam??

This flat earth thing is very cult-like without the charismatic leader. The adherents become irrational with an almost religious zeal. They have found the absolute truth and anyone who disagrees with their belief is a heretic worthy of scorn. It's a kind of mental illness, really. It's exasperating to rational people because it can be so easily debunked.
Regarding the moon hoax, the real reason we didn't go was that NAASA beat us to it. That story was suppressed to such an extent that almost no one is aware that it happened.
