We are deeply saddened to share with you the loss of a great man , our wonderful friend of many decades and the star of The Real World of Money, Andrew Gause. We are at a loss for words to express our sorrow for his wonderful family he was so deeply devoted to as well as his business partner Fred and his many employees whom he regarded as family. We ask that you send prayers of comfort out to all those who loved him. His death came out of the blue, so quickly and unexpected. He was a most generous man. Generous to the core. A rare soul. He will be incredibly missed.
RIP Andy - you will be missed. Enjoyed your refreshing blunt style and analysis and you always seemed quite cheerful which is not an easy feat knowing what we know.

HAWTHORNE, NJ - TAPinto Hawthorne has learned of the passing of Andrew M. Gause, Hawthorne resident and long-time president of SDL, Inc. on Lafayette Avenue. Gause, 59, was visiting family and the Hilton Head, South Carolina, based sister branch of SDL, a rare coin and precious metals dealership, when he passed away suddenly on Monday, January 21.
In Hawthorne, Gause was a behind-the-scenes political force in his own right. He was a self-described libertarian Republican, a supporter of the late Mayor Fred Criscitelli, and a backer of the 2011 Hawthorne GOP Strong ticket. A supporter of Ron Paul, Gause emerged successful in a First Amendment and property rights clash when former Mayor Patrick Botbyl directed the borough to penalize him for displaying a lawn sign outside the borough-designated appropriate timeframe.
Strange that you said that about the sulfur because the same thought occurred to me. There was something very sketchy about the guy selling it because he refused to reveal its source.
He was one of the last ones that still called the USA a republic. A staunch constitutionalist and advocate for all. A sad day in deed. My best wishes to his progeny.
