James Henry Fetzer (born December 6, 1940) is a philosopher of science and conspiracy theorist. Since the late 1970s, Fetzer has worked on assessing and clarifying the forms and foundations of scientific explanation, probability in science, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of cognitive science, especially artificial intelligence and computer science.

Given the scenario that 9/11 was planned and executed by the US and Israel an invasion of Afghanistan must have also been pre-planned, thus an independent leader possessing the loyalty and stature of Massoud who could not be bought would have to be rubbed out.
The passports referenced in the article could may have well well been planted evidence. I find it implausible knowing what we do now about Al Qaeda as a CIA/Mossad front for public consumption and the evidence pointing to no suicide hijackers that a "Al Qaeda suicide terrorist" would gain employment in a reputable news organization and fabricate a camera bomb so powerful as to leave no survivors. The film crew was used as bait for a drone strike IMO.
