James Henry Fetzer (born December 6, 1940) is a philosopher of science and conspiracy theorist. Since the late 1970s, Fetzer has worked on assessing and clarifying the forms and foundations of scientific explanation, probability in science, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of cognitive science, especially artificial intelligence and computer science.

The point I was making was that there is always corruption.
Turns out our relative was the second owner, Macartney. The first owner was Hope. He was credited by the farmers as the person who started sugar cane in Queensland, hence later Australia. He had a court case with a neighbour. It seems Hope lost the case probably because the lawyer for his opponent was appointed the judge. This is mentioned midway on page 6.
