The Raw Deal With Jim Fetzer 2025.01.29



James Henry Fetzer (born December 6, 1940) is a philosopher of science and conspiracy theorist. Since the late 1970s, Fetzer has worked on assessing and clarifying the forms and foundations of scientific explanation, probability in science, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of cognitive science, especially artificial intelligence and computer science.

    brr i watched some weeks his rumble and odysee channel, he pushes out so much clickbait, i dotn like him at all, ever monitored his odysee or rumble for some time? Victor Hugo i mean.

      I haven't browsed victor's different channels actually. So you're probably right that he may be obnoxious with his solo stuff, but in terms of his participation in the raw deal, I just think he made Jim's show more comedic and entertaining to listen too lol... But besides that he provided some solid info as well.

    today everyone is about RFK jr, i cant trust him already years ago Allison McDowell showed his background, he was never on ourside, RFFK jr is "establishment" he plays good cop in their game with us

    I'm 50/50 on rfk jr.... His association with schmooley is deranged and deplorable, but perhaps he can make the HHS dept at least more reasonable... But then again he totally backtracked on vaccines, so he's a toss up overall.

    Some of this gave me a good laugh, especially the mocking of Fetzer. I didn't watch it all though! Fetzer has definitely done some good work over his lengthy career, however he can be an insufferable and coarse jerk at times.

    I locked horns with him about 10yrs ago on a local political-talk radio show here in SLC he was a guest on discussing the JFK assassination. He doesn't handle well people who know as much, or more, on a topic as him having a specific disagreement, or an alternative narrative to his. I've witnessed him get apoplectic numerous times under such a scenario!

    As an aside though, I have to admit, Fetzer is starting to look quite sickly and gaunt now. I don't know if he has some specific ailment/condition he's dealing with, or what his health situation is overall currently, but just as a simple observation- he isn't looking too healthy!
