The Irish constitution is just as impotent as the constitutions of all other Common wealth counties.
Had a quick look at the Irish Interpretation Act 2005. It uses the same underhanded commercial language as most all other common wealth countries controlled by the "City of London". Added the ones worth thinking about. In law includes is not expansive but means only those things listed. People often miss that.
“affidavit”, in the case of a person for the time being allowed by law to declare instead of swearing, includes declaration;
“land” includes tenements, hereditaments, houses and buildings, land covered by water and any estate, right or interest in or over land;
“oath”, in the case of a person for the time being allowed by law to affirm or declare instead of swearing, includes affirmation or declaration;
