ReplyDeleteI like Sledge, but he continually manifests poor judgment in selecting his friends and allies (with the exception of his initial partner, Dave). He's quickly becoming obsolete, long as he cotinues to befriend and kiss the ass of people like "Truth" Militia, Lugh, Cultic Rectal, etc., etc.

It's almost a sure bet that the reason he left of-his-own-accord is because the TM guys are way too racist and white-supremacist-associated for him. That guy really was an excellent, intelligent host with a great radio voice and shouldn't be limited to financial topics alone. Kyle and that guy would be a very articulate team together. Bring him on as a guest and see how it works out.
I'm a latecomer to Sledge's show. Initially I thought he was some guy with personal problems wasting airtime but now I see that he does have something to bring to the table.

The audio was better this time, I hope the problems get resolved as poor quality audio really diminishes the quality of a show no matter what the content.

Usually can't stand listening to Mike Sledge. This show gave me much respect for his ability. I hope he make this show his new standard.
ReplyDeleteMike can do some very fine quality shows, if he wants. He did two back to back a month or two ago. They were quite exceptional.
ReplyDeleteHe can go either way. We all have our ghosts, problems, etc.
Mike just needs to figure out which way he wants to go. He probably needs some time to reflect as he is at an age to wing it and party along the way or become one of the best and be a leading voice in what might be coming.
Not many make it maintaining strong habits of booze and smokes. Steady diet of poison can take out anyone way too early, with suffering all along the way. Wish him luck and wish him well.
