It's
not everyday someone turns 100 years old - especially a Holocaust
survivor - but this week, Elias Feinzilberg celebrated his 100th
birthday and his journey is inspiring.
Feinzilberg survived nine concentration camps including
Auschwitz-Birkenau. He even survived a two-week death march by eating
snow.
I read an account of a scam Jewish boys would play in Poland;
ReplyDeleteThey would steal a cow, walk it deep into the woods, beat its udders with sticks in order to swell them up with blood (imagine the howls of pain coming from the poor animal), then sell the animal to some unsuspecting peasant family with small children as a milk producing cow.
Big whoop, I survived 13 death camps! And each one I had to walk to, UP HILL, in snow up to a grown mans chin everyday! That kid had it easy if you ask me!
ReplyDeleteFake news! How do you even "survive" a "death" camp, let alone nine? Doesn't seem very deathy is you ask me lol
ReplyDeleteDeath camps? More like Health Camps.
