Richard Dawkins: The God Delusion (Full Lecture)

In this lecture, Dawkins contends that a supernatural creator almost certainly does not exist and that belief in a personal god qualifies as a delusion, which he defines as a persistent false belief held in the face of strong contradictory evidence. He is sympathetic to Robert Pirsig’s statement that when one person suffers from a delusion it is called “insanity.”  When many people suffer from a delusion it is called “religion.”

PART 1: Richard Dawkins reads excerpts from The God Delusion and answers questions at Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, Virginia on October 23, 2006. This Q&A features many questions from Jerry Falwell's Liberty "University" students.

PART 2: Richard Dawkins continues reading excerpts from The God Delusion and answers more questions at Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, Virginia on October 23, 2006.

That's right. Secular humanism is a religion. And secular humanists are so radical, delusioned and dogmatic, they do not even realize that they worship a non-God, based on emotions and manipulated science/dogmatic interpretations.

The other problem besides secular humanism that mainstream atheist academia teaches is that they only attack Islam and Christianity the Goy religions, but fall short to condemn Judaism the mot evil and the main source of all Abraham religions

I would just add that I think Nikola Tesla was most likely much more intelligent than Dawkins, and knew a few things about math...

"My brain is only a receiver. In the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength, inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists." - Nikola Tesla

“The gift of mental power comes from God, Divine Being, and if we concetrate our minds on that truth, we become in tune with this great power. My Mother had taught me to seek all truth in the Bible.” - Nikola Tesla

"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." - Nikola Tesla

Furthermore, it stands to reason that since we are conscious, then obviously the universe is conscious, as we are part of it.

I would also add that human beings can only see 5% of the light spectrum. We can see three colors, red, green, and blue. Birds can see 4, just think what the world looks like to them, compared to what it looks like to us...

LUCIFER TO THE ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY, GREETING! *

[Lucifer, Vol. I, No. 4, December, 1887, pp. 242-251]

"MY LORD PRIMATE OF ALL ENGLAND,—
We make use of an open letter to your Grace as a vehicle to convey to you, and through you, to the clergy to their flocks, and to Christians generally—who regard us as the enemies of Christ—a brief statement of the position which Theosophy occupies in regard to Christianity, as we believe that the time for making that statement has arrived.
Your Grace is no doubt aware that Theosophy is not a religion, but a philosophy at once religious and scientific; and that the chief work, so far, of the Theosophical Society has been to revive in each religion its own animating spirit, by encouraging and helping enquiry into the true significance of its doctrines and observances. Theosophists know that the deeper one penetrates into the meaning of the dogmas and ceremonies of all religions, the greater becomes their apparent underlying similarity, until finally a perception of their fundamental unity is reached. This common ground is no other than Theosophy—the Secret Doctrine of the ages; which, diluted and disguised to suit the capacity of the multitude, and the requirements of the time, has formed the living kernel of all religions. The Theosophical Society has branches respectively composed of Buddhists, Hindoos, Mohammedans, Parsees, Christians and Freethinkers, who work together as brethren on the common ground of Theosophy; and it is precisely because Theosophy is not a religion, nor can for the multitude supply the place of a religion, that the success of the Society has been so great, not merely as regards its growing membership and extending influence, but also in respect to the performance of the work it has undertaken—the revival of spirituality in religion, and the cultivation of the sentiment of BROTHERHOOD among men..."

The Talmud is just the oral interpretation of the old testament by the rabbis. The Torah is full of Jewish supremacist quotes. The quran and bible stem from the torah. Tesla would have been a genius regardless if he was a Christian or not

Well done Foone.

God's chosen are evil, wicked people. Time and time again in the Bible we see the Jews murder, rape, pillage, plunder, enslave, sacrifice humans and animals, torture, slaughter innocents, commit infanticide, engage in prostitution, incest and more. Regardless how many times they break God's commandments, they remain his chosen people.

The God of the Old Testament is the collective will of the Jew. The Jews don't believe in God per se... they believe they are God.

If i were the "Devil", i would convince the world that i was "God". How much more evil does it get than to invent a religion and write a book proclaiming yourself to be the chosen ones of a God you created?

How much more evil than to brainwash the world that you can take pot shots at any other race or religion on the planet except the one that is the cause of all the ills in the world?

The chosen of God are the same evil today as they were in the old testament. All governments are the same religion... and then, as now, the Jews are above the law.

The Talmud has Jesus boiling in hot excrement for all of eternity.
The 7 Noahide Laws, enacted as US law in 1991, calls for beheading of anyone professing that Jesus is Lord. Connect some dots... it should be evident.

Doesn't the word dogma provide a key to what is really going on? God is dog backwards and creation is a feminine aspect. Everything religion teaches is backwards.

I'm an Atheist. I don't subscribe in a belief of a god or gods. That's it.

The fact that many Atheists are dogmatic in other area's has nothing to do with ''Atheism'' itself.

Millions upon millions of Christians, Muslims, Buddists and Atheists world wide believe in: The Holocaust, the moonlanding, UFO's. It's human nature to want to believe stuff that isn't proved or can't be proven. People will swallow anything if the proper authority instructs them to.

I don't agree with his alternative dogma on some points and would not think the bible is all correct, but he makes many good points to show what a fraud this evolution worldview or religion is. To sum it up, tell the goys they are nothing more than animals and they behave as such. (Darwinism is one pillar of deception in the Protocols). I think overall this is a great lecture.

As an agnostic I still do not know if there is a god per se, but one thing I'm absolutely sure of after listening to Charles Giuliani and reading the works of Robert G. Ingersoll or Steve Wells is that there is no way there is a jew god, or if he does exist is a actually a 'devil' of sorts...I'm quite baffled by anyone today who would even believe in such a god that is if they actually read the bible and all it's contradictions and wickedness. http://www.nobeliefs.com/DarkBible/DarkBibleContents.htm

If I may and on a side note, christian's who try to abandon the old testament make me laugh because there is one verse they absolutely cannot refute but choose to ignore. Christ came to fulfill the law of the OT. Accordingly the OT still applies yet christians deny it.

Matthew 5:17-20King James Version (KJV)

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Please folks! You don't have to be a theist to understand what a POS stooge for the JWO Dawkins is. Microsoft's billionaire, 'Hungarian' Jew, Charles Simonyi, funded Dawkins's Chair at Oxford specifically with Dawkins in mind. That in itself should raise warning flags. No one gets the amount media coverage that he does without being on board with the Jewish agenda.

Dawkins is on record as saying that denying Evolution is like denying the Holocaust. What is he saying here: that both are self evident? I suppose that's how his followers would interpret it. However, I think he is extracting the urine here. What I believe he is essentially saying is that both are BS and that you can kiss your lucrative career goodbye if you dare question either - and I know on which side my bread is buttered.

Noor al Haqiqa said...

Talk is cheap. As an extremely spiritual person, I always considered that Dawkins was created to fill a component of the JWO/NWO agenda ~ to nail down forever the "God is dead" mindset.

The death of spirit is very important in this dirty agenda and Dawkins plays the role of atheist priest very well.

consti2tionalist,

You are absolutely right, the New Testament (the gospels, the book of Acts, the letters and the Book of Revelation) is absolutely baseless without the Torah.

Everything that the New Testament testifies is presented as a fulfilment and realisation of the Old Testament.

Jesus' parables alone, and his teachings, his actions, not to mention his countless quotations and allusions to the Old Testament, cannot be understood outside the framework of the Torah. He proclaims himself to be the Living Torah, 'the Word made flesh'.

Any Christian who tries to disassociate the OT from the NT, and anyone who tries to disassociate Christ from his Jewish descent, is greatly misguided and are trying to invent a non-historical Christ.

With that said, just because the New Testament is literally built upon the foundation of the Old Testament, doesn't mean that it should be dismissed.

May I humbly suggest that the reason the Old Testament is reviled and hated is because today's uninformed world are looking at it the way are seeing everything else -- through the prism of the Talmudic-Kabbalist spell under which we find ourselves.

Paul said this about his fellow Jews in his letter to the Romans:

"As the Torah states: Because of you, all day long, God's name is blasphemed by the Gentiles" (Romans 2:24)

Yes, in the Old Testament we have a ‘warts and all’ record of Israel’s wickedness, her whoredom, her disobedience, her idolatry, her mistreatment of Gentiles and of fellow Israelites. God likens his people to prostitutes, murderers, liars, evil-doers and the rest.

But that’s the point. Israel did not fulfil its calling -- as ‘the chosen’ – to be a Light to the Nations, ambassadors of God, sons of God, God’s anointed, God’s royal priesthood, God’s beloved.

And that’s where the Messiah comes in. In him all the promises of God are fulfilled, being given all the titles above and more. He is intimately tied in with Israel, and indeed is the true Israel of God, in whom all people, Jew and Gentile, are grafted in to share in God’s blessings.

Like the Jews and the rest of Israel’s tribes, we all fall short of God’s glory. But God is ‘slow to anger and rich in mercy’.

I always encourage folks to take another look at the Good Book, independent of any outside resource or influence. If anyone asks God for wisdom to receive his word, their eyes will be opened and their ears will understand.

Christopher Marlowe said...

This is a really good thread of comments. I was going to make a defense of Christianity, but Persian Drum did it already, and he probably did a better job than I would.

I would just like to underline some points. Prior to Vatican II, the Catholic Church had always taught that the Jews were separated from God. The Church taught that the Jews killed Jesus.

It is true that parts of the OT are hard for some people to listen to today. How could God order people to kill, etc... But the very premise of Christianity, and the reason was the Jews reject Christ, is that Christ has done away with all of the validity of those passages.

Someone wrote that Christ is the fulfillment of the Law. Yes. Suppose we have a contract where I have agreed to buy a car from you for $1000. I fulfill my side of the contract by giving you $1K; you fulfill your side be giving me the car. Now what is the status of our contract? It is done. We no longer have binding promises. I don't have to do anything for you, and you don't have to do anything for me. Christ fulfilled the Law: he fulfilled God's side, and he fulfilled man's side. As St Paul said, (Gal 3:10)"For as many as are of the works of the law, are under a curse. For it is written: Cursed is every one, that abideth not in all things, which are written in the book of the law to do them." --> So by fulfilling the law, Jesus removed us from a curse. By staying under the Law, the Jews remain under a curse.

The Church has always taught that the Law died on the Cross. To a Christian, everything is in Christ, not in the Law. So it doesn't make any sense to slander Jesus with something He ended. Our enemies, the Jews hate Christ because all of their power comes from the Law. This is the major failing in Giuliani, IMHO. He wrongly condemns Christianity and paints it with the "Jew God" brush. This is plainly untrue and unfair to any literate person.

Christopher Marlowe said...

But why the did God give the law? St Paul says it was to show the power of sin. (See Rom 5:20) Sinful people cannot be saved by the Law because they will just use the law as another reason to sin. (1Cor 15:6) "Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law."

The Jews were never able to uphold the Law. God knew this from the very beginning, and said that he would establish a 2nd Covenant: (Heb 8:7) "For if that former had been faultless, there should not indeed a place have been sought for a second.". People are sinful and weak, and that is why we need God.

The Church does not read the OT in a positivist manner, i.e. not as though it is the Law because it is the law. But rather, the OT Law is a metaphor; It is the worldly, carnal interpretation of God. After the gift of the Spirit, we can see things in their true meaning. (1Cor 13:11-12) "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But, when I became a man, I put away the things of a child. We see now through a glass in a dark manner; but then face to face. Now I know in part; but then I shall know even as I am known."

For example, take Psalm 137 [136 Douay Rheims] "O daughter of Babylon, miserable: blessed shall he be who shall repay thee thy payment which thou hast paid us. [9] Blessed be he that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock."

What? Dash you little ones against the rock? That's disgusting! What kind of a nasty animal could to that to a little child?

But while the Jews see this as an excuse to have a vampire holiday in Gaza, the Christians understand that this phrase has no literal justification. We read this psalm in a spiritual sense. See here what the Notes to the Catholic Bible says: [9] Dash thy little ones: In the spiritual sense, we dash the little ones of Babylon against the rock, when we mortify our passions, and stifle the first motions of them, by a speedy recourse to the rock which is Christ."

So the little ones are the first motions of sins. That is the only way to defeat sin, as anyone who has struggled against addiction can attest. (Rom 7:14-15)"For we know that the law is spiritual; but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I work, I understand not. For I do not that good which I will; but the evil which I hate, that I do."

And thus concludes today's sermon. Thanks be to God.

Christopher Marlowe,

Your thoughtful and perceptive comments are welcome!

Paul's letter to the Galatians is intensely profound, rich and deep -- full of many wonderful insights that showcase, by contrast, what an absolute travesty the Talmud is. The latter takes the Torah of God and twists it with cruel puzzles, labyrinthine riddles, hair-splitting lawyer's spiel, blasphemous hexes, supremacist rants… while Paul's letters and the rest of the New Testament show how the Torah, the history of Israel and the covenants are fulfilled in the Messiah.

I enjoy reading Paul's writing concerning the Torah:

"Accordingly, the Torah functioned as a custodian until the Messiah came, so that we might be declared righteous on the ground of trusting and being faithful.  But now that the time for this trusting faithfulness has come, we are no longer under a custodian.

For in union with the Messiah, you are all children of God through this trusting faithfulness; because, you who were immersed into the Messiah, have clothed yourselves with the Messiah, in whom there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor freeman, neither male nor female; for in union with the Messiah Yeshua, you are all on an equal footing. Also, if you belong to the Messiah, you are seed of Abraham and heirs according to the promise". (Galatians 3:24-29)

The Letter to the Hebrews (especially chapter 10!) also puts it in a similar light:

"For the Torah has in it a shadow of the good things that were to come, but not the actual manifestation of the originals. Therefore, it can never, by means of the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, bring to the goal those who approach the Holy Place to offer them.
Otherwise, wouldn’t the offering of those sacrifices have ceased? For if the people performing the service had been cleansed once and for all, they would no longer have sins on their conscience. No, it is quite the contrary — in these sacrifices is a reminder of sins, year after year.  For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

This is why, on coming into the world, he says,

[and here the writer of the letter to the Hebrews quotes the Psalms chapter 40: 7-9]

“It has not been your will
to have an animal sacrifice and a meal offering;
rather, you have prepared for me a body.

No, you have not been pleased
with burnt offerings and sin offerings.

Then I said, ‘Look!
In the scroll of the book
it is written about me.
I have come to do your will.’" (Hebrews 10:1-7)

Indeed Christopher, as you say: "Thanks be to God" Amen

A lot of people see the Bible as a lot of gobbly-gook because people try to make it too complicated.

What I love about Christianity is its simplicity.

An easy way to sum up the Old Testament is that it is a record of the jews screwing up and God punishing them over and over again.

The New Testament is God coming in the flesh to give the jews a last chance. Jesus scolded them and let them know of their hypocriscy and disobedience toward God. Instead of accepting him, the jews had him killed. At that point the jews were cut off.

Today, the jews are more wicked than they have ever been.

The Persian Drum said...

Succinctly put ProGoyim. The only thing I'd add is that we have a 'good news' - 'bad news' situation at present.

The Bad News: It is true that world Jewry (collectively, not every individual) are on the wrong side. As Paul said of his fellow Jews in his first letter to the Thessalonians:

For, brothers, you came to be imitators of God’s congregations in Judah that are united with the Messiah Jesus — you suffered the same things from your countrymen as they did from the Judeans who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and chased us out too. They are displeasing God and are enemies of mankind, by trying to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles, so that they may be delivered.

Their object seems to be always to make their sins as bad as possible! But God’s fury will catch up with them in the end." (1 Thess 2:14-16)

The Good News: Paul wrote in his letter to the Romans that a day is coming when his fellow Jews will finally turn to God, honour Jesus as their rightful Messiah (instead of worshipping themselves), and the chaos, wickedness, destruction and disharmony that their rejection has foisted on humanity will in the end 'bring riches' for all. This is his theme in Romans chapters 9, 10 and 11.

This is confirmed by Jesus' words as he was being led by his kin to his execution:

“Jerusalem! Jerusalem! You kill the prophets! You stone those who are sent to you! How often I wanted to gather your children, just as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you refused! Look! God is abandoning your house to you! I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’” (Luke 13: 34-35)

Christian Branquhino said... Has anyone else noticed that most Christians defend Putin as an angel, just how they defend Christianity and the Jew book.

It's a tricky one Christian. Some of us would like to think that Putin is thwarting the Zio-Talmudic juggernaut , but as I speculated in another post:

Is Putin playing a chess game with the Judaic supremacists, acting nice in public (funding Jewish causes, abiding by the Jewish narrative of history), while actually working to undermine them, as Brother Nathanael states?

Or is Putin playing chess with us, positioning himself publically as the opponent of Zionist machinations, while actually aiding them in private?

It’s difficult to know for certain.

My suspicion is that the whole affair, just like all global and political rounds, is operating as a Hegelian Dialectic, whereby we are all divided into factions and played off one against the other, so that we are dis-united and Organised Jewry once again reigns supreme. One team sides with Putin, the other sides with ‘the West’, but both work for the same master, and ultimately the master’s will is accomplished.

Steve. While i understand your frustration regards the frequent postings of certain commentators, i ask you: If you can't debate your position with "Christian believers" - How do you hope to convince anyone else out there about the duplicity and iniquity of the Jews?
Let the more religiously inclined be hoist by their own petards. Those of us who have genuine evidence and acts of betrayal against Humanity to call upon need not fear anything Christians have to say. They'll either wake up one day and realise how completely fooled they were by the Jew Book. Or they'll carry their belief systems to the Grave. Either way, they're just as much victims of Jew propaganda as the rest of the general Public. It's the duty of those who have fully woken up to the Jew to attempt to engage and awaken *Them*. If we don't even try, then we might as well all leave the internet and go take up gardening whilst waiting for the Guillotine to fall on our necks.

It's hard to wake up the unwilling. I have personally tried and it's a lose lose situation. They have their belief and each of them have their own interpretation of that evil and confusing book.

Charles Giuliani is a real gem on this site but no christians will take him on. A few have tried but it was a sad effort on their part. I can understand that a bit as I as one of them.

Foonle-

I agree that debate is needed, but not to convert the true believers rather for the sake of those freeing themselves from the mindlock of the Abrahamic cults.

Black and white thinking is a hallmark of xianity. Good v evil, God v Satan, Christ v Anticrist, Heaven v Hell, etc. You can't have a debate with someone who views everything in that framework. Couple that with self-righteous and paranoid feelings of persecution, something they learned from their jewish forefathers, and it's really not worth the time.

I used to waste my time just savaging dumb ass christians on YouTube, Facebook, and forums. The oxymoronic "anti-zionist" Christians would end up resorting to slander, ultimately calling me a jew. Very similar to when the jews start screeching antisemitism, no?
