Hey! I saw something a couple of nights ago. I woke up around 2-3 in the a.m. and saw some large stars in the East, it was really strange.
When I got my binoculars I saw there were two stars close together and another star a little apart, a little towards the south direction. It was really strange.
Now, I wonder whether it could have been the Pleiades?
I'll have to watch out again, bit there's usually a cloud covering in the Eastern seaboard.I'll like to see them again.

Is it possible that it may be planets? I see Venus, Jupiter and Mars on the east early morning in California:
