Helping the virus to shut down your nation
Like it was threatening everything in creation.

Their media, their networks, their paid-off tools,
Phoney politicians, agencies, spin doctors galore,
Anything to make the death number soar.
The bug is a cover for where they have blundered,
The Fed and markets and all they have plundered.
Hyping the virus to shut down your nation
Like it was threatening everything in creation.

They shut down the schools, the restaurants, and pubs.
They shut down the conferences, committees, and clubs.
They shut down the city. They shut down the stores.
They confined you in your houses and locked all the doors.
They will shut down the banks and steal your wealth,
And all this they will do entirely through stealth.
Magnifying the virus to shut down your nation
Like a threat to everything in creation.
