One only has to contrast the federal response to all the so-called destitute "mountainous rednecks," aka "white peepo," from the damage inflicted by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and Tennessee, to these...Cough! Cough!..."wildfires" in California. The contrast is most revealing!
The governmental response vis-a-vis FEMA in these hurricane-hit areas has been basically non-existent-to-insignificant! Even the state and local governmental responses in some areas has been wanting and lacking to say the least. And it will not change much for the better moving forward either. These people are basically on their own in this rebuilding process!
Now months removed, and they're still finding bodies, doing trash/sewage/hazmat removal, still insulating trailers and mini-homes for the winter, and still, countless citizens are being made to fill-out frivolous forms and jump through untold hurdles and deliberate bureaucratic hoops for "assistance," much of which they will never see or receive or, if they do, they'll only receive a paltry amount, and much too late at that. It's amazing how many people within the government, media, and even the citizenry as a whole, have simply forgotten about and "moved on" from these tens-of-thousands of people affected by "the other" recent weather-warfare incident. It's enough to induce a Beserker-rage in one who truly feels and cares about what's going on and how it has been handled!
