Lynyrd Skynyrd was the only band with the balls to record a song called "Banker's Blues" - "Mr. Banker man, please lend me some money so I can bury my father." Shockingly, it was cut from the "Pronounced" LP. Probably just a coincidence their plane went down just after they released an LP with flames on the cover - how convenient for the banker man that Ronnie van Zandt was no more.
This concert was an absolute classic... The guitar solo in free bird was mesmerizing. Only like 2-3 months before their unfortunate plane crash. PS: F*** Neil young
I think they recorded that in 73 and then it was shelved and only came out in a 1987 compilation album called legend or something like that. Apparently it was released as a B-side to "Gimme Three Steps" in late 73.
