I watched with utter astonishment how
quickly the West and the Obama regime moved to put wind into the sails
of the totally bogus claims of the Syrian army using nerve gas on its
own people in the Damascus suburbs when the effectiveness of its
traditional counter insurgency operations have been on display for
months now. I don't know a soul that believes they would do this.
That the Syrian National Coalition would attempt this Hail Mary pass
to trigger a 'red line' incident to bring in the Western cavalry (can
we say USA?) to save them has been expected by the independent
intelligence community. And yes, the photos of lot of dead kids came as
no surprise. Killing kids also is a Zionist specialty as they have had a
lot of experience at it.
The West has been supporting this reign of terror on the Syrian
people for some time now through its admitted aiding and abetting the
arming, training and supplying of a diverse array of cut throat criminal
insurgent groups recruited from the hovels of North Africa and the Mid
East.

Pentagon considering strikes on Syria: Officials
Officers at the Pentagon said they were
updating target lists for potential airstrikes on a number of government
and military installations in Syria, should President Barack Obama give
the green-light to a military assault, officials said Thursday,
according to the Wall Street Journal.
The military options being revised at the Pentagon range from possible strikes on Syrian military "delivery capabilities and systems" to command-and-control facilities and artillery batteries, officials said.
US officials, however, said the purpose of the military options would not be "regime change" but to "punish" President Bashar al-Assad if there was conclusive evidence that his government was behind the alleged chemical attacks.

Three. The Government operates a vast database which allows it to sift through millions of records on the internet to show nearly everything a person does
Four. The Government has a special court which meets in secret to authorize access for the FBI and other investigators to millions and millions of US phone, text, email and business records
Five. The Government keeps Top Secret nearly all the decisions of the FISA court
Six. The Government is fighting to keep Top Secret a key 2011 decision of the FISA court even after the court itself said it can be made public
Seven. The Government uses secret National Security Letters (NSL) issued by the FBI to seize tens of thousands of records
Eight. The National Security Head was caught not telling the truth to Congress about the surveillance of millions of US citizens
Nine. The Government falsely assured the US public in writing that privacy protections are significantly stronger than they actually are and Senators who knew better were not allowed to disclose the truth
Ten. The chief defender of spying in the House of Representatives, the Chair of the oversight intelligence subcommittee, did not tell the truth or maybe worse did not know the truth about surveillance
Eleven. The House intelligence oversight committee repeatedly refused to provide basic surveillance information to elected members of the House of Representatives, Republican and Democrat
Twelve. The paranoia about secrecy of surveillance is so bad in the House of Representatives that an elected member of Congress was threatened for passing around copies of the Snowden disclosures which had been already printed in newspapers worldwide
Thirteen. The Senate oversight committee refused to allow a dissenting Senator to publicly discuss his objections to surveillance

Run Snowden Run!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-_EAPvzg2E
NSA leaker Edward Snowden set the world on fire when he stood up to the powerful and secretive National Security Agency, exposing its illegal and unconstitutional spying to a global audience. Since that time, statists, neoconservatives, and supporters of the Obama administration have called for him to stand trial for treason.
Meanwhile, civil liberties activists have hailed him as a whistleblower and a hero. Some have even suggested that the NSA should be disbanded, that its officials should be held accountable, and that Edward Snowden deserves a ticker tape parade. Today's Enemies Domestic short tackles this national conversation head-on.
Do you think Edward Snowden is a hero or a traitor?

Andrew Cockburn, author of Rumsfeld: His Rise, Fall, and Catastrophic Legacy, discusses his article on “The ferocity and failure of America’s sanctions apparatus;” why US sanctions against Germany continued even after WWII was over; the decimation of Iraq’s economy due to 20 years of sanctions; how US domination of the world’s financial system prevents Iran from trading with other countries; and LBJ’s elephant-squashing-mosquito style of US foreign policy. (Duration: 30:27 — 7.0MB)

Second interview Maj. Todd E. Pierce
Major Todd E. Pierce, a former JAG defense attorney at Guantanamo, discusses the history of martial law (or rather, rule by military decree) in the US; why the First Amendment no longer guarantees citizen oversight of government; and why the war on terror and Civil War-era precedents don’t justify the presidential powers dreamed up by Bush and Cheney’s legal counsel. US 'backed plan to launch chemical weapon attack on Syria, blame it on Assad govt': Report from Jan. 30, 2013
London, Jan 30 (ANI): The Obama administration gave green signal to a chemical weapons attack plan in Syria that could be blamed on President Bashar al Assad's regime and in turn, spur international military action in the devastated country, leaked documents have shown.
A new report, that contains an email exchange between two senior officials at British-based contractor Britam Defence, showed a scheme 'approved by Washington'.
As per the scheme 'Qatar would fund rebel forces in Syria to use chemical weapons,' the Daily Mail reports.
Propaganda Overdrive Suggests Syria War Coming Soon
With recent reports of a chemical weapons attack having taken place
inside Syria, and with Western governments such as the United States,
Britain, and France foaming at the mouth to take some type of decisive
action against the embattled nation, it is important to investigate the
claims being made, the individuals and organizations making such claims,
and the relevant information surrounding the attacks which might
contradict the narrative being force-fed to the Western public by
mainstream corporate media outlets.
For instance, while the typical narrative coming from the majority of mainstream media outlets such as NPR,[1] the Wall Street Journal,[2] CNN,[3]and the New York Daily News clearly implies that Bashar al-Assad was most likely the guilty party behind the attacks, the reasons to not only question the claims in this regard but to actually believe the opposite are legion.
Indeed, in predictable fashion, the United States government is now claiming[4] that is has “strong indications” that chemical weapons have been used and that the culprit was “clearly [by] the government.” Such propaganda, of course, hearkens back to the days of “Incubator Babies” and “Weapons of Mass Destruction” in Iraq.
