Biden: Administration Working to Help Holohoax Survivors

Vice President Joe Biden has announced that the Obama administration is working to help Holocaust survivors in the United States, many of whom live in poverty.

This is done by coordinating assistance, working with aid groups and using diplomatic means to help recover property confiscated during the Nazi era, the Vice President said.

Biden announced the effort this week in a speech to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. The administration says 100,000 Holocaust survivors are in the United States, and 25 percent live below the poverty level.

The failure of prosecutors to divulge exculpatory evidence in criminal cases has reached epidemic proportions, the 9th Circuit’s top judge wrote Tuesday.

Reacting to the federal appeals court’s refusal to reconsider the case of man convicted in 2003 for possessing Ricin with intent to use it as a weapon, Chief Judge Alex Kozinski stated that an absence of “professional discipline” and a lack of real consequences has loosed “an epidemic of Brady violations abroad in the land.”

Why Mammograms Are a Harmful Waste of Time & Money

Millions of women are subjected to ionizing radiation every year when we get mammograms at the directive of our health care providers. Radiation risks might be worth it if actual cancerous tumors were detected by mammograms, but a Swedish study involving over 60,000 women pointed out recently that 70% of all detected ‘tumors’ weren’t tumors at all, but false positives that led to invasive biopsies. Up to 80 % of all positive mammograms turn up without a shred of cancer after the biopsy, as well.
Furthermore, mammogram screening increases your risk of cancer. Just four breast films (the usual for one session) exposes a woman to 1 rad (radiation absorbed dose) about 1000 times more than a chest X-ray. If cancer is present, the extreme compression during a mammogram can help cancerous cells to spread (Lancet, 11992; 3440:122). Some doctors in the medical community, including, Dr. John W. Gofman, an authority on the health effects of ionizing radiation, estimates that 75% of breast cancer could be prevented by avoiding or minimizing exposure to ionizing radiation. Dr. Gofman goes so far as to say that medical radiation may even be a primary cause for numerous cancers, including breast cancer.

German state vows to block reprints of Hitler's 'Mein Kampf'

MUNICH: Germany's Bavaria state has pledged to maintain an effective post-war ban on Adolf Hitler's manifesto "Mein Kampf", sparking a dispute over academic freedom. Since World War II, copyright holder Bavaria has blocked any reprints of the 1924 book in which Hitler railed against the "Jewish peril" and foreshadowed the Holocaust.
Bavaria holds the rights to "Mein Kampf" (My Struggle) because Hitler was officially a resident of Munich when he died, but those rights expire at the end of 2015. Two years ago Bavaria announced plans to publish in early 2016 an annotated version with historians' commentary, for academic purposes and to help "demystify" the text. This week, reacting to complaints from "Holocaust survivors", the government of state premier Horst Seehofer in a surprise move changed course. It said the "seditious" book must stay off the market and warned that any publishers who print it will face criminal charges -- a move that was praised by Jewish groups.       (indiatimes.com)

Irish government collected about $7.3 million in 2012 from Facebook, though the latter earned estimated over 1 billion in the United Kingdom. So, it seems that the social network is facing a controversy over its tax contributions after Facebook filings revealed it exported almost 1 billion earned in Britain and other overseas markets to the Cayman Islands tax haven in 2012.

A Kentucky M.D. named Stephen Kiteck is shutting down his medical practice and citing Obamacare as the reason.

Dr. Kiteck published an ad in the local paper saying his office will close Dec. 31, 2013 because of Obamacare. He invites his patients to drop by prior to that date to pick their charts.

They said it wouldn't happen…..wrong again.
