Despite being a nation in a profound existential crisis, Chutzpah Israel

Ambassador Ron Dermer slams those ‘shamelessly’ accusing Israel of genocide.
Israeli soldiers should be given the Nobel Peace Prize for the
"unimaginable restraint" they are showing in fighting Hamas, Israel's
ambassador to the US has said, backing his country's right to
self-defense.
"The truth is that the Israeli Defense Forces should be given the Nobel
Peace Prize... a Nobel Peace Prize for fighting with unimaginable
restraint."

The Israeli military is using flechette shells, which spray out
thousands of tiny and potentially lethal metal darts, in its military
operation in Gaza.
Six
flechette shells were fired towards the village of Khuzaa, east of Khan
Younis, on 17 July, according to the Palestinian Centre for Human
Rights. Nahla Khalil Najjar, 37, suffered injuries to her chest, it
said. PCHR provided a picture of flechettes taken by a fieldworker last
week.
The Israel
Defence Forces (IDF) did not deny using the shells in the conflict.
"As a rule, the IDF only employs weapons that have been determined
lawful under international law, and in a manner which fully conforms
with the laws of armed conflict," a spokesperson said in response to a
request for specific comment on the deployment of flechettes.

On two consecutive days this week, journalists reporting from the Gaza
war zone who evinced empathy for the Palestinians and less than
unquestioning support for Israel were removed by television network
executives.
These incidents underscore the ironclad and rigidly enforced
self-censorship practiced by the corporate-controlled media, which
hardly bother any longer to disguise their role as purveyors of
government lies and propaganda. Any evidence of sympathy for the plight
of the Palestinians, any hint of criticism of Israeli war crimes is met
with instantaneous banishment, generally followed by blacklisting.
The removal of the two reporters, particularly Mohyeldin, is intended as
a warning to any other journalists who retain some commitment to
journalistic principles and respect for the truth to keep their mouths
