Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein facing sex trafficking charges found dead: reports

Billionaire financier and convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein has been found dead in his jail cell, according to several media reports.

Reports indicate the 66-year-old died by suicide early this morning.

Epstein was being held without bail in New York awaiting trial on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking.

He pleaded not guilty to all charges and his trial was expected to begin in 2020.
