With all due respect to Michael Collins Piper, he REALLY needs to make his show more exciting by having interesting guests and callers who make important contributions to the conversation. I mentioned this before now, and after listening to this show...well, I have said my piece.

NB: He and Brother Mark Glenn have a FANTASTIC chemistry together, and it would make for a great show if he would have Brother Mark Glenn as a co-host to give a dialogue and interesting banter between them.
I agree with you Lindsay, it seems like Pipers ego has grown to much. I honestly think his show have become pretty monotonous. Its a shame, since Piper is an honest guy, and he does have a lot of knowledge about history.
Michael has a right to ego. The large number of excellently researched and myth-shattering books and articles he has published, gaining him powerful enemies and death threat from the enemies of mankind, entitle him to be hugely repected. No one is paying Piper for giving us a radio show. I hope he is feeling well.
Unlike some, MCP does many of his shows without much of a purpose. This may just be his style or desire when doing shows. Basically, it sounds like he is just grabbing things out of files, off his shelves and desk different noteworthy items he clipped or saved as a matter of interest.
If he took the time to provide more structure to his shows and/or including guests, it might be too time consuming for him. Yes, it would make a better show, but he has no obligation to do so and I respect that, if that is the case.
MCP might not be interested in doing shows if it involves much preparation or having guests. MCP might feel obligated to read and be familiar with any guest he might choose to have, unlike JooLeeAhhKnee that never reads anything his guest produce.
