Ten-year-old girl warned by Kent police that hopscotch lines are 'illegal' and constitute 'criminal damage', claims father
Banned by the police.
The stupidity of living in a Police state is further highlighted by this press report from the independent.co.uk.
A ten-year-old girl from Kent has reportedly been warned by police after drawing a chalk hopscotch grid on the pavement outside her home.
Bob Allen, from Ramsgate, told local press that officers had frightened his daughter when they approached her saying it was 'illegal to draw on the floor' as it was 'criminal damage'.

I can sort of top this idiocy in Great Britain. A few years ago a 10 year old boy with high level autism was charged with littering. His Mum had to pay a hefty fee. And how did this horrendous crime come about?
The child had a little paper plate of fries and a crow attacked him and the fries went flying all over the place and the terrified child ran home. The crows made short work of the mess but the child was still charged with littering despite mitigating circumstances.
Then remember the 70 year old woman with the pet store who was arrested on animal neglect and forced to wear an ankle bracelet. HER big crime was selling a 6 year old a fish without spending time educating him on the proper care and so on of the creature. This was considered "animal neglect bordering on abuse".
The police state is mad and it is fully visible in the public school system when a child can be arrested for making a gun-finger at someone! America is no better alas.
This is why the original name for Kent was Cunt. No joke LOL
