I am unable to download as of this morning. Firefox abandoned windows 2000 this morning, so my win2k machine can no longer go to mami's shit via firefox. When I go there under ie6, it says it cannot connect.

When I change to XP, I am able to use firefox to get to mami's shit, but the downloads DO NOT download - they play, streaming, but the downloads folder (as set in "preferences") does not get updated. I searched every drive and the mp3
file is not present.

Does anyone know how to get XP to work the way Win2k used to - even last night I downloaded from my win2k machine with no problems.

Thankyou.

Grizz and I are using XP and it works fine. I don't think I can help you. I haven't touched a win2k in over a decade.

If you're using the newest version of FF. Maybe you can try restoring the classic Download Manager by typing in the address bar: about:config then search for " browser.download.useToolkitUI " and double clicking on it to set it to true.
