Daring to be Un-PC! Well Done Onion! |
Redskins is a slur for Native Americans, so the Onion is satirizing in a good cause (the same cause Lawrence O’Donnell has taken up on MSNBC, also citing Snyder’s Jewishness). But the story has made some uncomfortable, among them the JTA, whose story is headlined, “The Onion deploys Jewish slurs to skewer Redskins owner;” the Atlantic Wire, which is ambivalent about the usage– “journalists have been unsure how to discuss the story and whether it crosses the line or not, while still retweeting the story link”– and Salon, which seems to think it’s OK in the end. The Onion is, more likely than not, part of this bullsh*t charade too. I have often wondered about that. It makes sense, it started at Boulder U.
Stirring the pot, and we know they make long term plans, these kikes.
Yep, they've got their finger on the pulse and they know what buttons to push at the right times. They're probably banking on the premise that they can "manage" the upsurge in real anti-kike sentiment though by betting on the fact that the majority of your population are easily led tv-watching lemmings who will side with the "anti-racist" zombie movement to put it down. Gambling always includes an element of risk though and maybe, just maybe, the house WON'T win this time...
Yep (wink Wanda)
Every now and again they slip one in (like the recent Staurday Night Live deal about congress's subservience to Israel and Jews). It seems that Onion is Jewish run, but I'd need to confirm it.
Still kinda funny.
Folks, "The Onion" is the real-deal, and has done A LOT to expose much of the shit that is happening in our world. I remember that they did something similar, although not using the word, to expose jewish-power, but it did not get nearly this level of publicity, primarily because they did not use the inflammatory word.
I have a lot of respect for "The Onion", because they hide the truths that they speak in satire, which is what first-class comedians have done throughout history. Take this for what it is, and stop trying to find fault where none exists. They exposed the double-standard, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO jewish OWNERS OF ESTABLISHMENTS, and they ABSOLUTELY succeeded, so God bless "The Onion" for doing what so many others have not been able to do--expose the double-standards of the heebie-jeebies when it comes to themselves, and be damned the rest of the world when they are maligned and insulted.

NB: They gave Bobbie Batista, the cross-eyed journalist from CNN a job, and because I always liked her and thought that she got a bad break from CNN, "The Onion" has always had my admiration.
