Health Benefits of Diatomaceous Earth

You’ve probably never heard of one of the best and most economical supplements to improve your health and cleanse your body. In fact, this supplement is perhaps one of the best kept secrets ever. This relatively unknown “food” supplement is called Diatomaceous Earth, also known as DE. It is a completely natural substance that is rich in naturally occurring silica, a mineral whose list of documented health benefits continues to grow as more research is being conducted.

Numerous clinical studies show that silica is a crucial mineral that plays a key role in many body functions.

Some of the most recent studies show that it can strengthen bones and joints, prevent osteoporosis and restore bone health if you already have osteoporosis, boost the immune system, ward off Alzheimer’s, prevent premature aging and wrinkling of the skin, and strengthens the arterial walls to maintain good heart health. Another of the benefits of silica is that it helps to destroy bad fats in the body. Used as a daily treatment, diatomaceous earth can alleviate the potentially deadly risks of high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and obesity.

Additionally, because of its physical structure, diatomaceous earth is a highly effective anti-inflammatory and internal cleansing agent for the body. It can remove intestinal bacteria, parasites, e-coli, viruses, pesticides, heavy metals, and other toxins. It has also been known to assist with vertigo, headaches, tinnitus, and insomnia.

Sound too good to be true? Read on to learn more about this overlooked multi-purpose supplement and how it can improve many aspects of your health at a fraction of the cost of other supplements.

Wanda (Ownthenow) hooked me up with some of this and I put a heaping tablespoon in a glass of water an downed it, not to bad, kinda chalky.

Right away I noticed the brain fog I normally suffer from later in the day go away and I feel like I'm wide awake.

I did a lot of research and my gut tells me this is good stuff so I'll let y'all know how it goes.

That is very nice of you to give me honorable mention Mami... and great to get the word about Diatomaceous Earth out there, particularly for its pain relieving and metal detoxing benefits.

The best prices i have found for ordering on line is here: http://www.earthworkshealth.com/

Also, i can say, without reservation, theirs is one of the few testimonial pages i have read that is actually truthful.

I have been taking DE for six months. Work your way up to about a heaping Tablespoon a day mixed in a little water and chug it down. Tastes like chalk.

My blood pressure numbers both went down ten points. I stopped taking cholesterol meds, and my "good" cholesterol ratio went up while the overall number went down. I have severe osteoarthritis and no "health" insurance, and this spring I was able to get around well enough to plant a huge garden and several fruit trees.

There is a media blackout about DE because its cheap, too plentiful to jack the price up, and it works better than taking about ten different scripts. Oy Vey the goyim are not supposed to know about these things

Hey Andrea-that swimming pool grade DE is POISONOUS. Its dangerous to breath the dust or to consume internally. Seriously, don't use that. Its bad because of the impurities in the pool filtration-grade stuff.

The other two grades of DE are 'livestock' and 'food grade'. Shop around online and get some food grade DE, its cheap

Like Mami posted you get a weird mild detox feeling right away when you start on DE. Others get rashes and diarrhea a few days later. When you take a detoxifying substance sometimes the toxins being released again make you mildly sick. Thats called a 'Herxheimer Reaction' (Hmmm? is that a Khazar name). Your bowel movements may be tarry at first as years of crap chemicals are slowly scrubbed from your colon, but eventually the reach a nice healthy consistency, somewhat softer than before DE, and less smelly. I'm not saying mine doesn't stink any more, but damn near that. My joints started feeling better very gradually, after about a month.
The silica helps heal cartilage, but thats a gradual process. Last year I could hardly walk down the stairs and was using a cane. This year I planted a garden

DE is also a great source of trace elements and minerals that are stripped out of the type of processed foods that us poor Goyim tend to consume. I would never stop taking DE now that I know about it, its good for what ails ye

For a coupla years I've been a French Argiletz green clay I buty from sheabynature on amazon.co.uk.

£15 for a kilogram. I take about a tablespoon in water most mights. One bag lasts a couple of months. The advice is make mudfacepacks or whatever they're called only. But it's the same stuff some nutritionists tell us to eat / drink.

The French use it for all kinds of things, putting it in pet food, spraying it on house plants, those face *things* - as well as consuming it themselves as Mami advises.

Sometimes I take more and sometimes less. I notice that the more I take the more peaceful and calm I am. Earthed. Ya know. It's very stilling.

I have some DE from a few years ago in a box in the basement. I think it was food grade, although I never took it. I have put it around the house to keep ants out, and dusted my garden with it. Is there any way I could find out if it's food-grade? I watched this video this afternoon and decided to take a spoonful in water. I'm still alive...

Thanks for this one! I just went to the health food shop and bought a bag of the stuff. Never heard of it before so I then did some homework and figured my knees and nails and other problematic things could benefit. I have been paying $40 per silica in a bottle so this is much better. Literally dirt cheap ~ great for someone dirt poor.

This doctor explains (complete with medical references) in 100 words or less why this stuff is wonderful. He discusses a few other options for arthritics but his review of DA is excellent. Somewhere in there he mentions a 10% increase in cartilage over a certain period of usage according to a British study.

I will start on the stuff in the morning.

This is another cute and educational article on this Earth.

I started it over a week ago, and I have the same symptoms.
I am wide awake! But not shaky. Motivated, and pee a lot each time I go.
I sprained my ankle a week ago and I’m walking with the help of an ankle brace.

Do not take that. You need a food grade product.
