Thanks for your technical advice last week.
I removed my graphics card earlier today. Had to reconfigure pixel display, because everything was big.
Anyway, it's working, but, I've lost the ability to download a permanent record of mp3 files and mp4 files using Mozilla and Download Helper.
Got any suggestions?

Regarding my noisy fan, can you believe that it was likely just slightly out of balance due to an accumulation of displaced grease. After a bit of a scrub and application of a little fresh lubricant that I applied whilst leaving it connected it returned to nice and quiet again.
