Perception/Reality...

Heading into 2019, here's a little something to ponder on your journey.  It blew my mind so much i have to re-listen to it every now and again... but that's just me, mayhaps.   Who are we... where are we... what are we?  What is reality?  Enjoy...

"Fascinating about ant civilization?" It's horrid to think that they are aware...and they are!
ANd the insects are sentient, ant it doesn't matter the physical size, they are connected to a Larger Consciousness, elsewhere.

Yes. They are from a Greater Intelligence that has given of Itself to Its creations....to everything. And there is no line to be drawn.

What do you think? That Humans are the only ones with this gift? Silly Human.

Science/Biology is finding intelligence in bacteria and viruses. And they want to luve. THAT is why there is a war between us and them. That is why it’s getting hard to eradicate them.

And yes, i take it all the way to molecules, which are made up of Sub-atomic particles...appearing here and disappearing to another place. They are uncontrollable.

Or do you want to argue with Quantum Physics.

I got as far as the 3.20 part where he's imagining how the ant perceives the farmer's tractor. I prefer my method, about a gallon of gas poured right over the ant mound, step away about 4 feet and throw paper matches until it all goes up in a glorious satisfying roar of retribution. I hope the bastards are sentient and pass the word 'cause when they come on my land it's war.

And it’s not about some stupid character on a cloud!
Start thinking outside the box. Outside religions.

Yes, absolutely

Ok. Go ahead! Where's your platform? Your website? Your essays?
I'd like to read them. I tend to think outside the box.

I saw an experiment once using yellow slime, a simple form of fungus. They placed a number of piles of nutrient on a glass plate, arranging them so that they mirrored the relative location of towns and cities in the UK. They then put some slime on 'London' and left it to it. What happened was remarkable. The slime (it is one single entity, an individual) developed a network to access all the food sources, and when they overlaid that network pattern on the railway network in Britain it was more-or-less identical. The slime had figured out the most efficient way to connect those disparate points. So a very simple basic organism displayed 'intelligence'. If it has 'intelligence', does it follow that it has consciousness? In my view, if something is alive, it has consciousness, although that consciousness will not be something we could recognise as such.

You might've heard of the 'single photon/electron double slit experiment.' The ultimate proof of quantum weirdness and wave-particle duality? Well, it turns out that each 'dot' on the screen requires far, far more energy than tghat contained in 'a single photon/electron' to light up. Whats really happening is EM wave energy is constantly being absorbed by the screen, and every now and then a detector fires, hence the emerging pattern shows 'interference' - because it is WAVE interference. There is an electron particle. There is no such thing as a photon. R
