One of the most amazing 'award ceremony' speeches I've ever heard. Makes me think of those old Dean Martin Roasts which were almost as candid and brutal.
The look on some of (((their))) faces was the best; barely able to hide their loathsome hatred seething just beneath those fake smiles.

I doubt most top shelf American actors would find is routine funny, so who was doing all the laughing?

If you people want to see how great-of-an-actor Mr. Gervais is, then watch "Hannibal", Season 2, and be in-awe-of the man's acting-ability.
