We all thought George Carlin was funny and crazy and just saying weird shit for comedic effect. Now we realize most of what he was saying was true, even the crazy part about make your immune system stronger by exposing yourself to germs, especially when one realizes what your tonsils actually do.
Your tonsils catch and breed germs in your throat like little pus bags to teach your immune system. Rather disgusting concept but certainly believable if you have ever dug any of that white crap out of them. And what do doctors like to do? Cut them out.
