@Harry,Most notably the youth, but yes indeed. I see no pushback in my pathetic Canadian city. My wife got into a verbal war with a twat on the bus yesterday because she was not wearing a mask. It turned into quite a shouting match. My wife said it was comical watching all the silent onlookers with their eyeballs conveying a looks of meek vanquished souls. The woman wanted my wife to read the recent transit rules concerning masks. LOL My wife told she is well aware of the rules and had a printed copy in her purse. She told the twat to read it aloud so the whole bus could hear. She started and then stopped and my wife asked her to keep reading and of course she would not. It goes like this,
"Residents are expected to make good personal decisions regarding the use of face masks. Employees will be informing residents who are not wearing a face mask that they are required to wear one. Note, while our primary focus is on education, Transit riders could face a $100 fine for non-compliance. Residents will not be denied service for refusing to wear a face mask. The City may implement enforcement measures if wide-spread non-compliance becomes an issue.
We also ask that transit users not judge others who may not be wearing a face mask, as there are a number of reasons someone may not be able to wear one."
