What Ted Broer doesn't account for when stating his trimmed airplane doesn't rise up away from the erf (thus it's flat but he says he's not saying it's flat) is this: airplane trimmed to steady course and altitude is basically an atmosphere satellite.

PhD(piled high and deep) pilot Broer demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the vector mechanics of flight by saying his trimmed airplane should gain altitude over Ocheechobee due to the curvature of the Earth.
An aircraft in straight and level flight is travelling in a direction always perpendicular to the lift vector and therefore is constantly "correcting" for the Earth's curvature with no gain in altitude. Sheesh 🙄
"Straight and level" (trimmed) flight actually follows a geodesic arc whose center is the center of the Earth. "Straight" lines are only apparent, they are actually arcs of very large circles. This is something flat-earf-tards fail to grasp...light curves!
