As far as I know, the Germans did not do anything like this on German soil... maybe out towards the Eastern front, but that would be going against the express orders of Der Fuhrer, according to David Irving. If it *did* happen, that was due to Himmler's over-zealousness, more than anything else, according to Irving.

In the Germany 1943 picture, those are Soviet-Russian soldiers, not German soldiers. Take notice of the soldier in the very middle, Soviet-Russian.
