I think Christians have a real difficult time being honest about their role in history, because they are led by the narcissistic psychopaths in the secret society who constantly propagandize for a false religion that was only created as a weapon of Jew-directed genocide, all the while denying that they know anything at all.
The Huguenots were Bible believers (French Protestants) who followed the Reformed Tradition teachings of John Calvin.
