Trump announced that Israel and the US-backed Lebanese government have
agreed to a 10-day ceasefire, which is set to go into effect at midnight
in Beirut tonight. This, after immense pressure from Iran to include
Lebanon in the overall ceasefire, and after the IDF failed to accomplish
any of Israel’s goals with its war on south Lebanon.
Journalist and Lawyer Dimitri Lascaris noted that we have seen no evidence that the U.S. is finished with its overall war on Iran, and it’s likely the ceasefire in Lebanon will be used to buy more time, as the U.S. and Israel prepare for their next attack.

This week, the Russian Security Council issued a stark warning that U.S. 'negotiations' with the Islamic Republic could mask planning for another U.S.-Israeli assault on Iran. The Russian statement noted the massive U.S. military build-up in West Asia.
To explore the significance of Russia's warning, Dimitri Lascaris speaks with Dr. Foad Izadi, a professor in the Department of American Studies, Faculty of World Studies, University of Tehran.
Dimitri and Dr. Izadi also discuss the U.S. blockade on Iranian ports, China's response to the U.S. blockade and the assistance being given to Washington and Israel by the Gulf Arab autocracies, including Saudi Arabia.

Everything
we established about the individual — the metastasized wrongdoing, the
epistemic corruption, the relational destabilization, the transmission
mechanics — now scales up. Because these are not just the symptoms of a
person. They are the operating logic of an entire civilization.
Westernism is not a political position. It is a condition. A chronic, millennia-deep moral pathology — one whose defining traits you can identify clearly: the worship of destructive power, the instrumentalization of everything and everyone, the hypersexualization, the systematic reframing of atrocity as progress. And crucially, the pattern by which every moral outrage is eventually normalized. This is not a bug. It is the mechanism.
Which means that when you engage with someone thoroughly seized by that condition — online or otherwise — you are not engaging with a person in any meaningful sense. You are engaging with Westernism in human form. And the same rules apply: you are not going to cure them. You are not going to reach them with arguments or naseehah. What you can do is refuse to be infected. Quarantine the pathogen. Block without guilt. Set the standard and hold it.
This also reframes da'wah entirely. Da'wah is not persuasion. It never was. It is not about crafting the right argument or finding the right frame — that approach doesn't just fail, it corrupts, because it pulls you into tailoring Islam to a diseased framework, until you are Islamizing the infection instead of offering the cure. Da'wah is conveyance. It is truth standing in the presence of falsehood without blinking. And that means: maintaining your fitrah under pressure is da'wah. Refusing the provocation is da'wah. Blocking someone who comes at you with hostility and insults is da'wah. The outcome belongs to Allah. Your job is to hold the line.
Tarbiyyah and liberation are not separate projects. You cannot purify yourself while the toxin is still running in the system. The real work begins with knowing what you are dealing with — and calling it what it is.
