OK, this guy is pretty good. How did I get this far without ever having heard of him before.
I don't think I have ever seen a comedian who bleeds himself all over the room quite so heavily. He really does just put it all out there, no filter. His passionate view on the world is totally skewed in a way I have not come across before. You know immediately that doing this kind of stand up is what keeps this guy alive. He NEEDS the release, to be able to pour his innards out, to maintain some type of semblance of normal in his day-to-day. Because he truly is mad; no one comes up with some of his best insights without being way crazy.
Some neighbours actually knocked on my door because I was laughing so hard at the skit on insomnia ("and then the crazy train kicks in.."). I had to let them know I was fine but got a few concerned looks. Gotta laugh.
But he also offended the heck out of me with some of his material. I listened, smiled, realized some of them he made perfect sense but just did not have the whole picture. Let them slide because his take on Jews was... well hilarious. He nails a lot of stuff that people could identify with. LOL. Especially those who want us to remember they are all Jews.
What an angry guy he is much of the time. He makes Bill Hicks look like a ball of sunshine and fluffy skies... "just a ride... "
