Our Interesting Times With Timothy Kelly 2018.07.25 (Update)

Richard Spence on Aleister Crowley

Richard Spence returns to discuss his book Secret Agent 666: Aleister Crowley, British Intelligence and the Occult. Spence provides strong evidence exposing Aleister Crowley as a British intelligence asset and argues that much of the Great Beast’s public vilification was a cover to mask his role as a secret agent.

Richard Spence is a professor of European history at the University of Idaho, with a focus on Russia and Eastern Europe in the 20th century. He is the author of several other books including, Wall Street and the Russian Revolution: 1905–1925 and Trust No One: The Secret World of Sidney Reilly.

I put the wrong date on this. It is 2018. Original post for those who want to download the show.

it's fine, I'll prolly listen as I don't think I heard b4; but maybe correct the title's date, & add "Flashback:" intro or something.

it's a long show, 2h 55m. I gave it a half hour or so, didn't really catch my interest enough, & moved on. :)
