Chain, I'm getting a better sense of how you view the world with every post. If you have not seen 'Being in the World' by Tao Ruspoli- watch it! Most people misunderstand Heidegger and his 'philosophy;' his philosophy is to be found more in the work of a carpenter or cobbler than it is to be found in some ethereal abstractions. I think this documentary is right in your wheelhouse!

Sadly I'm a hack also, but I appreciate those who are great at whatever they do like my granfather(RIP)who learned how to make clocks in Germany before he came to the U.S. One of the guys in the doc was Graham Harman who dedicated a whole book to the whole theme of "Being in the World' called 'Tool-Being: Heidegger and the Metaphysics of Objects.' Great read! Glad you enjoyed it!
We had another problem in NASCAR today. A crew member got crunched into another car by a driver in pit row. The good news is; it's not Bubba Wallace's crew member, so we won't have to hear about it all week!
