Yemen and Syria - Two Different Rebellions, Two Different Stories, Same Belligerent West

The United States providing support for the Saudi regime is designed to lend legitimacy to what would otherwise be a difficult narrative to sell. However, the United States itself has suffered from an increasing deficit in its own legitimacy and moral authority. 

Most ironic of all, US and Saudi-backed sectarian extremists, including Al Qaeda in Yemen, had served as proxy forces meant to keep Houthi militias in check by proxy so the need for a direct military intervention such as the one now unfolding would not be necessary. This means that Saudi Arabia and the US are intervening in Yemen only after the terrorists they were supporting were overwhelmed and the regime they were propping up collapsed.          ***Read full article here***

The Killing of Tamerlan Tsarnaev's Would-Be Accomplice(Ibragim Todashev) Wasn't So Simple

Why it matters: A confession would have solved the triple homicide, and it would have cemented Tsarnaev's role in that crime. Since reading Dzhokhar Tsarnaev his miranda rights, investigators haven't been able to extract information about the Tsarnaevs as freely as they'd like — or at least it hasn't spilled out in public as much as the people of Boston would like to hear. A confession might have been a big piece in the puzzle of the Tsarnaev brothers. Instead, we're left with a Jack Bauer-style tale of secret confessions turned deadly, with more questions than answers.
What's perhaps more puzzling is that the story doesn't seem to add up: What new piece of information makes a guy who has been cooperating with FBI agents for the last month or so turn on them?          ***Read full story here***

Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev are innocent

The attitudes of the mainstream media and subsequently, those who crassly and ignorantly react to those of us who support Dzhokhar and his right to fair trial, point to the fact that among the most fundamental tenants of our justice system, (the right to presumed innocent until proven guilty), is sadly becoming an obsolete ideal that we can no longer count on to prevail in the face of injustice. 

We are seeing now what happens when a faction of “the masses” feels compelled to speak-out and question the established narrative and challenge the status quo.  We are vilified, accused of being “traitors” and “conspiracy theorists”, have our sanity called into question, and are sometimes even labeled as “terrorist sympathizers”.  Why such a desperate need to place these derogatory labels on those of us who seek-out the truth, demand that the democratic principles that this country was built upon be upheld, and who speak-out when we encounter what we believe to be injustice?  Apparently, it’s to send the message that being an open-minded, questioning, critical-thinker who supports the foundations of the American justice system, is something for which one should be ashamed.

First hour: Professor James Tracy is back from an academic Conference on Conspiracy Theories at the University of Miami. (He wasn't sure whether he was invited as a colleague or a specimen.) While the majority of the attendees wrung their hands at the baleful effects of conspiracy theorizing, a few brave souls like Professor Tracy pointed out that many of the "conspiracy theories" appear to be true.

Second hour: Gordon Duff, Senior Editor at Veterans Today, says the mainstream accident/suicide explanations for the Germanwings 9525 plane crash don't pass the smell test. Gordon says the plane "has a remote, satellite initiated fly by wire system." (Just like the system that took over the planes on 9/11?) We'll also discuss this news reported by Barbara Honegger:

"Associated Press reported today, March 26th, that French President Hollande stated that the outer casing of the second 'black' (actually orange) box, the Flight Data Recorder/FDR, had been found but that 'it was missing the memory card' that captures the critical data needed to determine what happened. This is an absolute impossibility unless someone, almost certainly special forces given the isolated and dangerous terrain, got to the crash site immediately and removed it. Pilots for major U.S. airlines in the wake of 9/11 were adamant that no commercial airliner is allowed to take off, let alone taxi from the gate as I recall, unless both 'black' boxes are tested and working, i.e. the memory card is present and functioning properly."

The new Congressional task force on anti-Semitism denies that their could be any legitimate political differences with the Jews, and labels all opposition to Jewish power as based solely in hatred for Jews for being Jewish. Legislation is also being introduced to ban all government contractors from participating in any boycott of Israel, including severe penalties for those that are found to participate.
He then proceeds to have a discussion with Dr. Slattery on a Gala fund-raising event hosted by the "human rights organization" the Simon Wiesenthal Center to support their museum of "tolerance," featuring a fiery call by Hollywood torture porn producer Harvey Weinstein to kick Jewish enemies "in the ass." Dr. Slattery pointed out the ease with which organizations promoting Jewish interests can raise tens of millions of dollars in a single night and said that this explains why an organization like Amnesty International will release a ludicrous report accusing Gazans of war crimes for using homemade weapons in a vain attempt to fight off the onslaught by the Israeli War Machine.

17 Scientists Speak Out: Monsanto’s Roundup is Causing Cancer - Monsanto openly disagrees

After analysis, it was determined that glyphosate falls into the 2nd level of concern (mainly at industrial use) of 4 levels for possible cancer-causing substances. The 4 levels are:

Known carcinogens,

Probable or possible carcinogens (where glyphosate stands)

Not classifiable

Probably not carcinogenic

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said it would consider the French agency’s evaluation. But given US government agencies’ decisions and political ties, hope is dismal that they will do anything to limit its use. The EPA’s 2012 assessment of glyphosate concluded that it met the statutory safety standards and that the chemical could “continue to be used without unreasonable risks to people or the environment.”
