Veterans and Human Rights Attorneys Seek Information on Toxic Weapons Use in Iraq

Iraq has been subject to the largest use of DU munitions of all areas of conflict and test sites, conservatively estimated to be at least 440 metric tons, though the United Nations Environment Programme has estimated an amount up to five times that based on satellite imagery. Iraqi civilians thought to have been exposed to DU and remaining debris have suffered high rates of cancer and birth defects and U.S. veterans report unexplained illnesses.  

 

“DU is but one example of the toxic legacy left by our wars in Iraq,” said CCR Attorney Jeena Shah. “Veterans who served in Iraq are suffering side effects, while many Iraqis still live surrounded by piles of metal debris left over from the war and with soil and ground water potentially contaminated by DU. The only way to deal with its effects and to ensure it is cleaned up is to have a full accounting of where weapons containing DU were deployed.”     ***Read full article here***

'It's not kosher!': North Palm Beach man protests being jailed for elderly dad's assault

NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A 44-year-old man arrested in the assault of his elderly father protested his incarceration Wednesday, telling a judge "this isn't kosher!"

North Palm Beach police responded to a 9-1-1 call from the 800 block of Fathom Street late Tuesday morning. Max Tochner, 75, told police that his son grabbed his right arm and pushed him out of the way during an argument, causing a laceration to his forearm, according to a police report.

Police arrested Paul Michael Tochner as he came out from a shower. He told police "He was in my way, so I pushed him."

The HPV vaccine: injuries and treatment

In the spring of 2013 there came reports in the Danish press and on Facebook that young girls/women had developed some symptoms characterized by damage to the skin, nervous system, immune system, etc. These symptoms were associated to the Gardasil vaccine.

It was claimed that the vaccination was stopped in Denmark and that the injured were diagnosed and treated for all the many serious damages which were described. The problem is that many did not know and still do not know, the strange symptoms they experienced after Gardasil injections are vaccine injuries.
The health authorities responded by promoting the vaccine and saying the serious injuries of the HPV vaccine was Functional disorders, caused by psychological reasons. The Danish Health and Medicines Authority however would increase surveillance of the HPV vaccine, but nothing was communicated about this, and the doctors did not get any information about the strong suspicion, and they were not informed about the contraindications for the HPV vaccine, it was quite obvious that The Danish Health and Medicines Authority, SSI and The Danish Cancer Society had a financial interest in promoting the vaccine.

Yet another significant paper finds low climate sensitivity to CO2, suggesting there is no global warming crisis at hand

Hot on the heels of the Lewis and Curry paper, we have this new paper, which looks to be well researched, empirically based, and a potential blockbuster for dimming the alarmism that has been so prevalent over climate sensitivity. With a climate sensitivity of just 0.43°C, it takes the air out of the alarmism balloon.

The Hockey Schtick writes: A new paper published in the Open Journal of Atmospheric and Climate Change by renowned professor of physics and expert on spectroscopy Dr. Hermann Harde finds that climate sensitivity to a doubling of CO2 levels is only about [0.6C], about 7 times less than the IPCC claims, but in line with many other published low estimates of climate sensitivity.  

The paper further establishes that climate sensitivity to tiny changes in solar activity is comparable to that of CO2 and by no means insignificant as the IPCC prefers to claim.
