Refugee Crisis: Brought to You by Western Imperialism ...(& The Calliphate!)

As much as the Bleeding Heart Liberals hate to face it, *THIS* is what Is really Going On in the "Refugee Crisis"!

While Europe is erecting fences, deploying armies and expressing its “concern” about how to deal with the annual influx of some 300,000 asylum seekers, vast areas of the world – namely the Middle East and Africa – are essentially ceasing to exist. For years, I have been witnessing the desperate movements of millions of refugees and migrants all over the world. The West has been redrawing the borders everywhere, performing direct invasions, or using proxy wars, in order to destabilize or directly destroy all “hostile” governments (read: those that have been determined to feed, educate, house and cure their own people).

Turkish-Uyghur Terror Inc. - America's Other Al Qaeda

It is no longer tenable for the United States and its regional allies in and near the Middle East to claim they are backing "moderate rebels" in the proxy war raging in Syria, Iraq, and parts of Lebanon. There is the Syrian government on one side, and terrorists including Al Qaeda and its various franchises such as the Al Nusra Front and the so-called "Islamic State" (ISIS/ISIL) on the other.
If one is not supporting the Syrian government, it is very clear they are supporting Al Qaeda. So obvious is this fact, that the Western press and the corporate-financier think tanks that produce for them their talking points, have begun a campaign to re-brand Al Qaeda as a lesser evil vis-a-vis ISIS. In reality, there is virtually no difference, with the US and its regional allies clearly arming, funding, and supporting both.
Within this rhetorical shift we find an admission that there is indeed no "moderate rebel" force to speak of. All that exists, admittedly, are extremists operating under the various banners of Al Qaeda and ISIS.

David Swanson: "Every US war unnecessary - here's proof"


My Veterans Today Radio colleague David Swanson, one of America's great voices of peace, asks:

What if Americans Had Known in 2013 that U.S. rejected Syria Deal in 2012?

In the wake of the Guardian's report that the US rejected a peace deal that would have had Syrian President Assad step down in 2011, Swanson writes:

"In the United States it is considered fashionable to maintain a steadfast ignorance of rejected peace offers, and to believe that all the wars launched by the U.S. government are matters of 'last resort.' Our schools still don't teach that Spain wanted the matter of the Maine to go to international arbitration, that Japan wanted peace before Hiroshima, that the Soviet Union proposed peace negotiations before the Korean War, or that the U.S. sabotaged peace proposals for Vietnam from the Vietnamese, the Soviets, and the French. When a Spanish newspaper reported that Saddam Hussein had offered to leave Iraq before the 2003 invasion, U.S. media took little interest. When British media reported that the Taliban was willing to have Osama bin Laden put on trial before the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan, U.S. journalists yawned. Iran's 2003 offer to negotiate ending its nuclear energy program wasn't mentioned much during this year's debate over an agreement with Iran -- which was itself nearly rejected as an impediment to war."

2nd half hour: I continue an argument with philosophy professor emeritus Jim Fetzer.

This week's False Flag Weekly News reported on Republicans who said Indiana clerk Kim Davis shouldn't be in jail for refusing to issue gay marriage licenses. Jim Fetzer said those Republicans were wrong because Davis had a "duty to perform" (and to obey the law).  I questioned what this "duty" could possibly mean; wondered whether such a "duty to perform" would apply equally to all cases of refusal to carry out orders that one views as unconstitutional or immoral, or only to those cases where Jim Fetzer agrees with the current law; and disagreed with Jim's claim that saying "Gandhi/Rosa Parks/Kim Davis/Joe the marijuana offender etc. etc. shouldn't be in jail" is absurd since we all know that when you break the law, you are likely to go to jail.

Report: Russian Marines Battle ISIS In Syria, IS Possesses “Satellite Imagery” Of Base

As the conflict in Syria continues to escalate, it has been reported by Russian media that Russian Marines stationed at an airbase in Latakia have now engaged ISIS fighters in direct combat.
According to Russian news website, Segodnia, ISIS militants attempted to ambush the Russian soldiers stationed at the base but were fought off by the Russian marines, with a number of ISIS fighters being killed and some captured.
Russian military activity has been increasing at the airbase near Latakia over recent days with the arrival of new and advanced Russian fighter jets, according to reports.
