I found this CD in the Mission District of San Francisco (in a phone booth) in 2008 or 2009. I don't know it's origin but it is fascinating to listen. A rare, insider view of the financial shenanigans and bizarre subculture of scientology. Whoever recorded this CD was still a true believer despite all of the strong arm tactics and power plays that were going on inside Scientology at the time. Download Audio
Ted Nugent, former rock star and current board member of the National Rifle Association, posted an anti-Semitic picture of twelve prominent Jewish people with Israeli flags next to their faces on Facebook on Feb. 8. The image is entitled, “Who is really behind gun control?” "Know these punks," Nugent wrote in the posting. "They hate freedom, they hate good over evil, they would deny us the basic human right to self defense & to KEEP & BEAR ARMS while many of them have tax paid hired ARMED security! Know them well. Tell every1 you know how evil they are. Let us raise maximum hell to shut them down!"

Editor’s Comment: There is little doubt that activists, preppers and freedom loving patriots across the Internet and reading this and other alternative sites have managed to get themselves on one or more government “lists.” Despite official denials, there are many specific reasons to think that the government is compiling numerous watch lists that could be activated as “round up” lists for dissidents in the aftermath of a major emergency. FEMA and Homeland Security keep Continuity of Government (COG) as a top priority and will target anyone who could undermine that objective. With that said, what is the most effective way to avoid being rounded up in the event of a crisis where martial law could be declared? How can you keep yourself off the radar and out of trouble before that time comes – the biggest tip is regard online comments and posts to social media outlets like Facebook with serious caution.

If there are two spectacles that are almost guaranteed to render Americans passive viewers, incapable of doing little more than cheering on their respective teams, it's football and politics—specifically, the Super Bowl and the quadrennial presidential election. Both football and politics encourage zealous devotion among their followers, both create manufactured divisions that alienate one group of devotees from another, and both result in a strange sort of tunnel vision that leaves the viewer oblivious to anything else going on around them apart from the "big game."

A woman from Italy could be jailed for up to six years because she does not do enough housework, according to Italian media. The 40-year-old, from Sonnino in the Lazio region, is being taken to court by her husband.
He claims that her management of household chores is of a low standard and it has led to the “mistreatment of the family”, according to a translation of Ill Fatto Quotidiano by The Local.
