The
Central Intelligence Agency is declaring the Washington Post’s
much-hyped story linking the Russian government to hacking the
presidential election to help Donald Trump an “outright lie,” according
to CIA personnel with direct knowledge of the case.
The Washington Post, in a front-page splash on Friday, fingered the
CIA for allegedly confirming the wild rumors of Russian hacking that
were concocted and spread by Democratic lawmakers for months preceding
the election and the weeks since the GOP win. The Washington Post’s
story, however, contained no CIA sources and in fact, no credible U.S.
intelligence agency sources whatsoever. Instead, it hinged on what
unnamed lawmakers had supposedly been told by unidentified, supposed
CIA-linked sources in “secret” briefings: That the CIA had developed
proof the Russian state waged an orchestrated campaign to destabilize
the U.S. election to benefit GOP-candidate Trump.
“It’s an outright lie,” a CIA analyst divulged to True Pundit.
“There’s nothing definitive like that. There are leads from activity
originating in Finland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Britain, France, China
and Russia.”
Multiple CIA sources are now denouncing the Washington Post for
knowingly reporting misleading national security intelligence.
Intelligence insiders said no one in the Agency or in the FBI, who is
running at least one parallel inquiry, has ruled out a possible internal
leak within the Democratic National Committee from actor(s) inside the
United States who funneled private DNC emails to Wikileaks.
On the rabid Sunday morning political talk show circuit yesterday,
fueled by the Washington Post’s thinly-sourced yet highly-lauded
reporting, Sen. John McCain implored President Elect Trump to look at
the CIA-Russian information which he said was credible. McCain, however,
as the Senate Armed Services Committee chairman, had strangely never
publicly disseminated such intelligence prior to Sunday. And no other
elected officials have stepped up to echo his narrative or that of the
Washington Post.
CIA and intelligence sources, however, quickly countered McCain’s
claims as speculative at best, saying his information is simply not
accurate and he, as the Arizona senator has done previously, was
grandstanding for the media without knowing key facts.
“If he (McCain) in fact is being told that information, it is bad
information,” a CIA source said, pondering whether McCain had perhaps
been briefed by outgoing CIA Director John Brennan or his loyal Agency
underlings. Multiple sources said Brennan and his inner circle in the
Agency could not be trusted to disseminate any true
intelligence, especially in their final days on the job, without
tainting raw data with political ideologies that parallel their White
House boss.
Trump has already named Kansas Congressman Mike Pompeo as Brennan’s
successor and CIA personnel anxiously anticipate Brennan’s departure,
sources said. (But you won’t read about that in the Washington Post.)
Could the Russian state be linked to hacking to influence the 2016
U.S. election? Intelligence analysts, again, reiterate there is no
overwhelming current evidence to definitively link any government to
such rogue actions.
CIA personnel said any official information released by Brennan or
the White House on this issue prior to President Barack Obama’s
departure from office should be discounted and tuned out as partisan
“white noise.”
The CIA sources’ collective assessment that the Washington Post
purposely and brutally misrepresented the CIA’s findings is the third
blow to the embattled newspaper in the last week, having been busted
writing two other high profile fake stories on national security that
were quickly proven to be problematic and ultimately bogus.

Any questions about differences between a
Trump and Clinton II administration can be laid to rest this week. In
astonishing fashion, President-Elect Donald Trump has conducted his
advance work with dizzying effect.Trump immediately confirmed he
fully intends to pull out of the Darth Vaderesque and Orwellian named
Transpacific Partnership (TPP), a Western empire confabulation meant to
block China’s increasingly and historical leading role in its own
backyard: East Asia.
As if to confirm this, on November 14th,
Chinese president Xi Jinping (XJP) and Trump talked on the phone, to
discuss future cooperation between the world’s two biggest economies,
claiming mutual respect. Queen Clinton would already be moving little
models of naval fleets to the South China Sea, with her shuffleboard
stick, on the global strategy map in the Pentagon’s war room.
Trump
also uncharacteristically met early on with Japanese Prime Minister
Shinzo Abe, one of America’s two occupied, satrap Asian lapdogs (along
with South Korea). He has threatened both of these countries that they
better expect to pay cash on the barrelhead for the 80,000 American
centurions camped out across their lands.
On November 15th,
2016, Trump and the hysterically demonized president of Russia,
Vladimir Putin talked on the phone, discussing cooperation – heaven
forbid! If Clinton had been elected, she’d be installing a “Press here
to nuke Moscow” button in the Oval Office.
On November 27th,
Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak had a chat on the
telephone to discuss 2017. Malaysia has been demonized by the US and
Israel for its three fearless “guilty” rulings of war crimes and crimes
against humanity, in its own Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission, against
Bush, Blair & Co., and the Zionist state. If you think there is no
connection to these three rulings citing Western and Israeli genocide
and the statistical improbability of three downed Malaysian airliners
(MH370, MH17 and QZ8501) over nine months in 2014, then you are living
in mainstream la-la land. Maybe Najib touched a nerve when he talked to
Trump, because five days later, on December 1st, Trump said at a celebration rally in Ohio,
Trump
is meeting with world leaders and talking with them on the phone
without even consulting that bastion of Western empire and genocide, the
Department of State (DOS), once Hillary Clinton’s fiefdom, no small
coincidence. He has talked with Kazakhstan’s president Nursultan
Nazarbayev, a strong ally of Russia and China and staunch member of the
Shanghai Security Organization (SCO). He and Pakistani Prime Minister
Nawaz Sharif talked, another strong ally of China, with Trump even
proposing to visit the place. Barak Obama wouldn’t touch foot in
Pakistan, undoubtedly worried about getting hit by American drones, that
have killed and maimed untold thousands of innocent women, children,
aged and youth, across the world.

Georgia Says Someone in U.S. Government Tried to Hack State’s Computers Housing Voter Data
Unsuccessful intrusion came on Nov. 15 apparently via Department of Homeland Security IP address
Georgians
vote during the 2016 elections on Nov. 8. The state on Thursday asked
the Department of Homeland Security to explain what appears to be an
attempted breach of its voter registration database by someone in the
federal government.
The
secretary of state of Georgia is asking the Department of Homeland
Security to explain what appears to be an attempted breach of the
state’s computer systems that house its voter registration database by
someone in the federal government.
In
a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary
Jeh Johnson
dated Thursday, Georgia’s Secretary of State Brian Kemp
said the state had discovered an unsuccessful attempt to breach the
firewall of state computer systems. The attempt occurred on Nov. 15 and
was linked to an IP address associated with DHS, he said.
“We
are looking into the matter. DHS takes the trust of our public and
private sector partners seriously, and we will respond to Secretary Kemp
directly,” a spokeswoman for DHS said.
“At
no time has my office agreed to or permitted DHS to conduct penetration
testing or security scans of our network,” wrote Mr. Kemp, a
Republican. “Moreover, your department has not contacted my office since
this unsuccessful incident to alert us of any security event that would
require testing or scanning of our network.”
The
alleged attempted intrusion by the federal government on a state
computer system responsible for election security was detected by a
third-party security firm working for the state of Georgia. The attempt
was unsuccessful, according to the state. The computers also house
information about company incorporations.
In
his letter, Mr. Kemp asked the department to confirm whether a scan
attempt was made, who authorized the scan and whether the department was
scanning other state systems without authorization.
The
Department of Homeland Security made a major push in advance of
November’s elections to help states secure election systems against
possible hacking, as fears of foreign interference in the U.S. election
process reached a fever pitch in the months leading up to Election Day.
The
department also considered declaring election systems “critical
infrastructure,” which would have given the federal government
additional authority to protect the systems. DHS didn’t take that step,
however, as many states expressed concern about additional federal
authority over their election systems and said the constitution provided
states the right to run their own elections.
As
a result of some of the concerns, the department clarified that
assistance on election-related security matters was voluntary and
encouraged states to take advantage of DHS resources and expertise to
help secure state election systems.
“DHS
assistance is strictly voluntary and does not entail regulation,
binding directives, and is not offered to supersede state and local
control over the process,” Mr. Johnson, the DHS chief, said in
September.
Georgia
was one of the states that had declined the federal government’s
assistance for election security, citing state sovereignty. “Right now,
we’re just demanding answers,” said
David Dove,
a top aide to the Georgia secretary of state. “My boss, Secretary Kemp,
has been a very vocal critic of the Department of Homeland Security
declaring election systems critical infrastructure.”
